Dr. Evil, portrayed by Mike Myers, is a fictional character from the Austin Powers movie franchise. He is a parody of James Bond villains, particularly Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
Dr. Evil first appeared in the 1997 film, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. He is depicted as a 1960s evil genius who cryogenically freezes himself, awakening 30 years later to find the world has changed.
His goal is world domination, typically attempted through elaborate and often absurd schemes. He is known for his catchphrases, such as "One million dollars!" (later increased to "One *billion* dollars!"), and his strained relationship with his son, Scott Evil.
